Ten years ago when we were about a year into dating we talked about adoption. At the time we did not realize we would struggle to have children naturally, but looking back on it now it has given us both a sense of peace that adoption was on our minds from the early days of dating. We met during our college years and got married in 2017.

We both would typically rather be outdoors than indoors and enjoy going on hikes, biking, playing pickleball, grilling, and reading on our porch together. We love to travel and try new things both far away and near home.

Our families are one of our greatest gifts and we are fortunate to spend a lot of time together playing games, traveling to the beach, and celebrating one another at lively gatherings. We may not be the ‘life of the party’, but we’re the kind of people who show up for others with joy and compassion. From the early days of dating we have felt that we just make sense together; we’re best friends who help make the good in life even better and the hard a little easier.
